Bexar County Republican Leadership Announces Major Endorsement
Past & Present Party Leaders Come Together for Patrick Von Dohlen to #MakeSAGreat
(San Antonio, Texas) — In an unprecedented display of support, nearly two dozen current and former leaders within the Republican Party of Bexar County (RPBC) announced a unified endorsement of Patrick Von Dohlen, candidate for San Antonio City Council, District 9. Von Dohlen will be vying for the seat in the upcoming runoff election slated for June 5th.
Von Dohlen, a local businessman and community advocate, has galvanized early support among local conservatives for his commonsense strategies and pro-business approach to the myriad challenges facing the city.
“Patrick has worked hard for his community by fighting for property rights and family values in District 9,” said RPBC Chairman John Austin. “The San Antonio economy is struggling to regain its footing and we need a pro-business, pro-law and order, and pro-family advocate representing us at City Hall. He is a patriotic American that exemplifies the values that San Antonians stand for.”
RPBC Vice Chairman Charlotte Williamson Eisenhauer echoed a similar perspective about Von Dohlen, stating that he “is the conservative leadership that District 9 has lacked under the current councilman for the past 4 years. He has my strong endorsement.”
Among those standing in support of Von Dohlen are 13 former RPBC chairmen and vice chairmen, dating back more than 50 years of the party.
The runoff election will take place on Saturday, June 5th, with early voting ending Tuesday, June 1st.
