REPUBLICAN CONVENTIONS

Have you thought of being a delegate to the State or National Republican Convention?

They are invigorating, patriotic, exciting events that are an integral and very important part of the business of the Republican Party.

The time to plan is now and the Road to Convention starts by attending your Precinct Convention, so plan ahead.

The Convention Process

Bexar GOP Precinct Conventions

March 3, 2026 starting at 7:30 PM

Precinct Conventions are held at the Voting Center assigned to your 4-digit voting precinct. See County Arcgis Map

Anyone who voted in the Republican Primary or individuals who sign an Oath of Affiliation with the Republican Party may attend the Precinct Convention. However, if an individual signs the filing petition for a candidate of another political party, that person is ineligible to participate in the Republican Primary or any Republican Conventions in the current election year.

Delegates to the Senatorial District (SD) Convention are elected at the Precinct Convention. In addition, Resolutions for the Republican Party of Texas (RPT) platform can be introduced at the Precinct Convention. If passed the resolutions are then forwarded to your SD Convention.
