Request: End the City of San Antonio lease agreement on the Migrant Resource Center (MRC).

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Republican Party of Bexar County

October 18, 2022

End the City of San Antonio lease agreement on the Migrant Resource Center (MRC).

“We, the Republican Party of Bexar County, request that the City of San Antonio end the lease
agreement on the Migrant Resource Center (MRC) and no longer allow our city to be used as an
illegal alien transit hub for the Biden Administration to distribute illegal immigrants into the interior
of our country, as this process creates a danger to the residents of Bexar County and their property.”

Infuse SA challenges Councilman Mario Bravo, Migrant Center

Calling out District 1 Councilman Mario Bravo, the website InfuseSA warned, “Where is Councilman Bravo? The Migrant Resource Center is Calling.” The website blames the center for the increase in the homeless population in District 1, causing pollution, loitering, and vandalism.

The article is written in part by John Melendez who last month filmed and posted videos of the Migrant Resource Center at 7000 San Pedro Avenue.

“The Migrant Resource Center (MRC) off San Pedro doesn’t seem to be able to support the 600-800 migrants coming to the facility daily,” Melendez wrote. “The migrants have 3 days to get a bus ticket, plane ticket or make other arrangements to make their way into the interior of the country.  If they don’t do this, many of them end up homeless here in San Antonio.”

See the youtube videos below to see Melendez talking to homeless migrants inside a homeless campsite near the center and going inside one of the tents so citizens can see how these people are living.

InfuseSA is a nonpartisan 501(c)3 organization on a mission to advance personal and economic freedom for the citizens of Bexar County. To read the InfuseSA.org article click here.
